The First Friday Art Walk - Dog Art Raffle is being sponsored by RS Hanna Gallery. Shannon has graciously displayed some beautiful donated dog art by local artists. Two of the art options are custom pet portraits of your pet(s)!

Nov 4th is the final day of the raffle with snacks and beverages at 5PM then a best dog wag contest followed by the raffle drawings at 7PM.

The Big Give SA

The Big Give SA is 24 hours of online giving to local non-profits. The FDPA tried to participate for the second year but The Big Give website crashed and none of the participating non-profits could receive donations.  We did host a Dawg Pawty at The Coop from 6-8PM on May 3rd and raised close to $10,000 on our website and in person.  Thank you to all of the four legged supporters who brought their owners and check books!

Dogvember Fest 2015!

To show off the land that the City of Fredericksburg donated to us and to raise more awareness of our mission, we had our 2nd Annual Dogvember Fest at the future home of the Fredericksburg Dog Park. There was a dog costume contest, best tricks contest, amature relay rcaes, Name That Breed contest, Christmas Photo booth, some vets, groomers, trainers and dog lovers were all on hand to mingle and meet you and your dog(s).

Pints for Pups:

To bring awareness to our mission again, on Thursday, Sept 17th, the FDPA and friends started out at West End Pizza from 5-7PM and then moved over to Hondo's from 7-9PM. Pedernales Brewery donated free pint glasses for every Pedernales beer ordered and both bars will be donating proceeds to the FDPA!

FDPA Pup Crawl:

To bring awareness to the mission of the FDPA and our need for donations, the board of directors and supports visited 3 local pubs on Friday, May 29th.  All well-behaved canines on a leash were welcome to join us and many did!

The Pup Crawl began at Auslander's at 5:30PM on the back porch. At 6:30 the group crawled to Silver Creek and convened on the back porch.  After that, the group ended on the front porch of Burger Burger at 7:30. All involved had a blast! Please stay tuned and join us at our next one and help us raise awareness about the need for donations to build Fredericksburg’s dog park!

The Big Give SA:

On May 5th (Cinco de Mayo!) we participated in a 24 hour, full day of Fiesta FUNdraising.  Along with 13 other GIllespie County non-profits, we shared donors and donors shared dollars!  The FDPA raised close to $12,000 that day with online, offline and matched donations.  Thank you to all who suppoted us that day and we look forward to next years:

DOGVEMBER FEST:
